tonto: What is there left to say that hasn't already been said by so many? Apparently under the cover of misplaced confidence about being able to recoup the delayed contract awards, management let the stock price decline without ample real warning about the potential seriousness of the situation until the water was over the dam.

I am just biding my time until tax-loss selling season ends and I see just how low the stock can go. I would certainly be interested in repositioning my holdings should the stock get down to $10 and adding shares every 1/2 point it declined from there. I would then put the shares away in my safe deposit box for a year or two and see what happens.

Depsite all of the now known negatives I am firmly convinced that the industry holds great promise for the future and that ANLT is still at the forefront. The cash flow generation of the past quarter shows that they have the managerial talent to cash in on good times. Let's see how well they operate under challenging conditions over the next two or three quarters.

Once Thorpe is gone I think that Corder may not be too far behind. At these depressed prices I would no be surprised to see a bunch of new faces on the BOD next year as shrewed interests pick up a more controlling interest of the stock.

I believe one of the clients in Con Edison in NY. On a recent visit there I saw constant digging in streets all over by all of the Utility Companies and also noted that they picked up an acquisition or two. Consolidating these operations I am sure will call for sizeable investment in GIS expenditures and the logical recipient should be ANLT.

From these depressed levels traders could have a ball playing the in and out game but in the long run the investor should be able to make out like a bandit.

In the meantime my little toy has sprung back to life from what looked like certain catastrophe. Added to their list of clients is Mckesson and Erickson telephone. Earnings should be out this coming week and I am curious to see if they can move out of the break even stage to some significant profitability. As the list grows they become more attractive to the larger forces in this Enterprise Software business.

BTW did you see what happened to my friend ELON. I don't think they are through yet. If their technology actually gains a foothold you could see a $100 stock in two or three years.

Enjoy the forthcoming Holiday and early best wishes for a Successful, Happy and Prosperous New Year and Millenium.
