Casaubon, wanna see a classic bottom pattern? Check this:

timely.com

and yes, I was invested in this. I bought at 6.30 and sold at 5.80. Okay, fine, nice save. But then I got smart and bought again at 4.20. Then I sold at 3.30. Then I bought again at 2.29 and I'm still in it! I bought in with the same amount of money each time, so amazingly I've managed to lose more money than if I'd bought and held all the way down!!! However if I average down now with the same amount of money and it goes up to 2.29 again, I'll have more than made up for my losses. That would be breaking LG's 3 strikes and you're out rule, but hey, it's so crazy it just might work.
