AH welll---- I am the slow student in this DAR class..but every class needs one of those. My math was in the low 500s, my English around 700. The only reason I got Early Decision acceptance was because I was musically gifted but mostly because our neighbor was a state rep. who wrote a great recommendation. I also had a good interview with admissions, but that's kinda what my forte was-- I am lovable. It's a good quality if you're not terribly academic. My excuse for my lousy scores is that our basketball team went to the state finals the night before the SATs and I, being a cheerleader which was MUCH more important than anything academic, as any 16 year old should know, stayed out most of the night and crawled into the tests. I'm not sure I realized they were tests. I don't remember taking them. I did a lot better on the GRE's years later. BUt an intellectual I'm not. I am awestruck by you all.
