Obviously we'll need to come to a consensus that all are comfortable with, but from the discussion here I have some thoughts:

1) There seems to be strong interest on the other thread in some gorillas in the more "traditional" sector--that includes MSFT, CSCO, (INTL doesn't get a lot of play on G&K thread), and of course, QCOM and GMST, and SEBL because of Mike, as well as WIND more recently. These are all fantastic companies. QCOM has blown me away. But at some point a thread can become diluted with too many companies discussed.

2) As Mike noted, things will change rapidly over the next few years. But for the time being...companies like ARBA and I2 interest me and when Teflon gets back I think there will be lively discussion, and I want to learn from that. There was not much response on the other thread to these companies

2) There will be some overlap when companies diversify--but perhaps where to post should depend (being relaxed about this of course, no hard and fast rules) on what the company's main focus is, and/or if someone thinks their b2b is becoming more important, post it here

3) Reassess periodically. I thought the fellow who suggested position trading on G&K, even though it goes against traditional G&K investing, had an interesting point. I'd like to see options plays on G&K discussed as well, and maybe that needs its own thread, who knows. I do know of two people who recently PMed me their amazing stories, and both played leap options OTM on gorillas and built up incredible portfolios from very tiny beginnings in a matter of a few years.

The original FM was great but it would be foolish not to innovate on it.
