Being in the sales world, I have had several friends pass thru the Cisco gates. My understanding is that a sales job there is heavy on weekly number attainment (intense was a word used quite often). If you subscribe to the 80-20 rule in sales, 20% of your sales force brings in 80% of your revenue, turnover is not exactly a bad thing. This is great for stockholders but tough on some sales people and sales management, especially for ones not used to such intensity (usually part of the 80%) . I would suspect the turnover rate on the sales side of the house is probably alot higher then 5% annualized. All in all, I think this is healthy.

imho
