Wow, Mr. Cockburn! I guess that means I don't have a "spark of insight." I never got Wodehouse, and it looks as if I will have to go back and take a second look, to prove (or disprove) myself. <g> As for "pop culture," Edwarda, you ought to go knock on Neo's door. He is far more positive about it than you are (or than I am). Meanwhile, speaking of doors, I am not so sure about this list business. At first, it gives you the opportunity to open the door and let in the people you think have been unjustly excluded. But the room fills up fast; and then you have to bar the door against everyone else, however deserving. I don't think I'm cut out to be a gatekeeper, or a bouncer... Joan
