I think they are very good with some of their products, one in particular but the others are in severe competition. Their recent acquisition was done for very good reason. In fact, I know someone who worked for them years ago and sold his stock to buy the other company. Ironically, HYSL bought them out. HA! I recently sat through presentations for OLAP products. Absolutely fascinating. The one thing I came away with is this: The best companies out there are currently private. I watched one presentation and I was in awe of what the hell they can get this software to do AND most importantly, this one company in particular had implemented their product at major companies. If they ever go public I will back up the truck. Of course, I am looking at these companies as a long term play. Short term they may be great choices.
