The story of Life, it is whom you know. Some people are bolder than others. Sometimes they win, sometimes they lose, but all you can do is adhere to your own principles and raise your children in your beliefs. And stick with people like you!
As for doctors, the doctors at my husband's hospital always paid for their lunches. They did (and still do) have a separate dining area in the fancier restaurant, but paid/pay the same prices as everyone else who eats there. They can also eat in the cafeteria. Most of the time, they grab a quick bite in their office or in the surgical area because they have no time to eat.
