OK, class, although nice to have, doesn't say enough. How about if you throw the word trust in there. In today's high tech market, you're potentially a competitor, and an alliance partner with many companies at the same time. Take Sun and Intel, for example. Competitors in hardware platforms, but getting together to bring up Solaris 64 bit on Itanium. Allies there. It takes some trust in another company to strike this type of relationship. CEOs that have class, and trust, I think might include John Chambers and Mike Ruettgers. Sanders? Who'd trust him as far as they could throw him? Make that throw his Benz limo, he isn't
that big. What key alliance has AMD ever struck that significantly furthered their business plan?
