I still think that the 1.5 million block
trade has to do with something we don't know about.

1)Who was holding this large amount anyway, and why would they sell?
2)The same can be said on who would buy these shares knowing that if AGM loses in court the shares would be worthless.

I would only buy this amount if I know for sure AGM is going to get something out of this mess.

I might be way off base here but,

Merukh knows he is going to lose and wants to settle.
He will lose a #### load of money.
If I was going to settle with a company I would buy shares in that company because the share price will rise on the settlement. I could recoup some of my money. Now, Merukh could say to AGM " I will settle with you if you could find me a large block of shares to purchase before the settlement." Newmont could have done the same. The letter Newmont sent to AGM "go ahead and sue us" we all know that AGM and Newmont have been talking. Newmont can settle, the share price of AGM will rise, if they have the 1.5 million shares, they will recoup some of the settlement money.

Who knows????????????

Thanks
