*The Globalstar Sales Process Has Started* Yes, it is morning on 15 November 1999 and today is the start of the Hard Launch following the soft launch which began on Tuesday at Telecom99 a few weeks ago announced by Mr Bernie Schwartz. So, I read the morning paper from beginning to end, but no advertisements, articles or anything. Since there is no gateway in NZ, that isn't really surprising. But still, it means there is NO hard launch here. As day breaks around the world, I'll be interested to see the reports come in of full page ads in newspapers, magazines and even ads on TV where Service Providers ARE launching service for real. This is so exciting! Better rush off to globalstar.com and see the minutes mounting already. There should be some announcement of the official sales process and flashing red lights where handsets are for sale. Opening day specials. Use 100 minutes a month and get any more free! I'll check it and report back. I've waited 5 years for this. Happy Day!!! Maurice
