thats $40 for a shared network that will get slower day by the day. the upstream is slow, and the network has a lot of security problems.

w/ dsl the biggest limitation is that you have to be about 12,000 feet away from the DSLAM in the CO.

you are only saying that because cable had a year head start. once you get these loops over crowded, people will drop their cable and go with DSL. and also a lot of people want to do e-commerce...with cable you don't really have that option. look at the numbers right now, DSL sign up rate is exploding.
