The effect of John's work is in essence providing the statistical 'backtesting' so we can be more certain of certain strategies working in the future. It will take the form of another long 40-50 pages of a chapter on "Advanced and specific techno-fundamental strategies with set up and explanations."

Unfortunately I did have the advantage of backtesting for 5 or 6 years because of the relative newness of the strategies and the onslaught of the internet sectors and its own specific strategies. But fundamental analysis and technical analysis have been around for decades so these strategies are just a combination of the best these have to offer short term traders.

There will be some Point & Figure strategies and Short strategies are part of the long strategies.

Some I strategies I have used about 3 1/2 years but others only about 2 years and a few others only 18 months, so when the chapter is completed, Johns work will take the format of

1. strategy + charts and strategy set up (all trades from watch lists and/or newsletters)

2. Backtest by John when applicable for purposes of future. This adds the statistical backtesting for putting forth a much more professional book.
So now we have something rather long and the "Manual" will be 9 chapters and 150-175 pages at least depending on how 'spread out' the charts will be. Of course its no "Edwards & Magee" but for our purposes I'm satisfied with its coverage.
