Agreed. If you wait for one of the talking heads or one of the newspapers to tell you what to do, you are already too late. I read the wall street journal for news, cnn interactive, and sometimes barrons. Value line is good for technical information and rudimentary fundamental analysis. I watch CNBC but turn the sound off and simply watch what's going by on the ticker. One simply must do one's own due diligence. I will read or listen occasionally for amusement. Our own humble opinions are as good, and most of the time much more timely, than anyone you see on the tube, or read in print or over the internet. If one truly wants to rely on someone else's opinion find a good broker (and there are plenty of these out there, although one must be diligent in the selection so that not only competence but compatibility in investment philosophy are assured).
