Hinduism is more democratic in practice than any religion can be. Hinduism has many paths and ways. You can choose or vote for any path or way. There are no hard and fast rules. There are No Dos and DON'Ts. It is not a religion dictated by dogmas.
Compare this with other religions. According to Troy Wilson Organ , Islam demands total submission to the one GOD, absolute irreconciliable faith in Mohammad and lays out one straight and narrow path. Choice is absent and the everything is done as prescribed, such as the clockwork prayers, the words and phrases of prayers, the body position and the direction of the head and face.
But consider this: Out of this rigidity came sufism . Sufism has many similarities with Bhakti movement of Hindu India. Think of these shared thoughts between Hinduism and Sufism; I am He and He is I. When thou seest me, thou Seest HIM. When thou seest HIM, thous seest us both ( me and HIM).
Jesus said " Seek and ye shall find". We can find union with God , when we seek HIM.
When we say that Christ ascended to heaven, it is a metaphor according to Joseph Campbell. There is no physical heaven . When you ascend, according to Campbell, you go HOME, the inward space. That HOME is GOD. Ascension can't be an OUTWARD JOURNEY. If it is an outward journey, there is no end and Jesus will still be in the galaxy, according to Campbel. According to William's law " He who inwardly enters and intimately penetrates into himself gets above and beyond himself and truly mounts up to God".
Jesus said: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

The first muslims to appear in India were women and children brought by Hindus in the 8th century A.D. These muslims were brought to SIND. When DAHAR, the ruler of SIND refused to give up the muslims, there came Arabian soldiers to rescue the muslims. Thus the muslim presence started in SIND and part of Puunjab.
