Ron,

They will have to demonstrate the technology first before an assessment can be made. With the quality of people in their camp, they must believe that they have something.

I like this part:

I think the author has subliminally put his finger on it. The analyts fear what AMD could do to Intel. Their firm's positions in Intel are just to high.
