Thanks much, Two of the more important parts I got from you notes was the wireless loops, and PJ comments on HDR and how they are in fact targeting HDR for a last mile solution. HDR we already know about, but Wireless Loops we do not, or at least I didn't till I read your notes. It was one of the those light bulb moments, that I have not taken into consideration when evaluating QCOM. From Your notes I asked about wireless loops in the office. PJ's response: CDMA is perfect for the office. He said that they will be a player in this area when the time comes. [Maybe it depends on developing different kinds of network equipment like the routers 3COM said they will have out next year.)] PJ said they already have the antennas and when they are hung above a desk the worker will actually get 2.4meg speed.

I love this. Could this morph into Wireless LANs WLAN. Why go to the trouble of running wire, when you can slap antenna on the ceiling and presto you are up and running. So we can add this new potential revenue stream into the mix. Seems to be far along, since they have antenna already. I need to find out more about what COMS. Here is COMS page in WLANs 3com.com.

Next year is going to be the year it all comes together for QCOM, I can't wait.

Thanks,

greg
