It is a matter of sending resets to Qcom. It is not that S&P's data is bad. It is their computer talking to Qcharts computer as I understand the problem. When that happens, they feed bad daily data for the last bar. It has been discussed here and on onelist many times. It happened about 3 times in last 6 months. My EOD data source also gets a feed from S&P. They have seen the same problems there.

I think the Assumptions that Qcharts isn't attempting to fix problems no matter where they originate is unfair. Or that data is really bad. 95% of the things reported here, I never see. I maintain a steady connection. Besides the bad Avg volume figures, the reset failure causes. I can not remember seeing anything I am interested in, being in error.

I am sorry that all don't enjoy the same results with qcharts, but that is often the case with any program, broker, stock, commodity, trading system or etc. With the thousands of customers out there for any product, there are those happy and unhappy for valid and invalid reasons.

Sun spots, no. Solstices, yes about 4 times a year, it effects satellite transmissions.
