Voltaire: Great suggestions!! Selling stock right now is very counterproductive. Let me give you an illustration how insane it is to give up your cost base in this environment. I had a friend sell 300 of his 1000 shares in order to pay off car loans and other general BS. That was after the Everen report spooked the share price $25 in one day. He really didn't need the money that bad. After the 4 for 1 split, he is only going to have 2800 shares instead of 4000 shares. Assuming the stock splits at $100 or better, he left $120 K on the table in pure profit.
