Hi Don Green; Actually, the preferred usage is "loose" for what happens to your money when you make a bad investment, and "lose" for for describing the opposite of tight. I used to think it the other way around, but from reading SI for a few years, it has become clear to me that I had it wrong. Or at the very least, that I was in the minority. By the way, I'm waiting for Dan3 to provide the latest Dataquest estimate for RDRAM production in 1999, now that Camino got delayed again. Should be some interesting back pedaling. Maybe I'll go look for a link myself. -- Carl
