In which case, of course, you'll be sure not to avail yourself of medical services here, CPP, education, community services, etc, right? Seems to me it has to be you pay the taxes to enjoy the privileges, or you don't try to use the services if you're not willing to pay the taxes.

This isn't to say you can't advocate reducing taxes - suggest the services you're willing to lose -, and to work towards that goal. I'm just not a fan of those that come back to Canada for cancer treatment or pregnancy terms or send their kids to school here but otherwise live in low-or-no-tax environments.

Not meaning to get a whole debate going (this thread shouldn't be cluttered with such) but rather just to provide at least a single counter thought. Let's move on from here, though.
