Gottfried and Threaders, Following are the DW Weekly market and sector bull percentage based on the end of day Tuesday, 11/9/99. Sorry I am late. Just got back from Orlando, Florida. Note that all the leading indicators (10week, options, hi/lo, and 30week) have reversed up along with the nyse and otc. This is bullish for those of us in the market. On Tuesday we saw the Semi sector move up to the 68% area with AMAT in the $100.00 range. Since this time we have seen the Semi sector continue to move up with AMAT hitting $109. It appears that the SEMI sector will move into the overbought range (above the 70+ percentile range). How high AMAT can go no one knows. However, if you recall I predicted that AMAT's standard deviation suggest a price of $101.50. We have exceeded that level. The highest price level for AMAT in the past has been approx. $120. Tito, can give some indication of his projections. IMO, the upside gain vrs the downside risk is becoming more narrow. Naturally, the above is only my opinions and the data which I have reviewed from the Dorsey Wright site, IBD and SEMI sites.
