I can not find the actual source now. But early on when I started following AMSC two or three years ago, this was announced by both AMSC and Lucent. It was one of the points that made me feel positive that this is a serious contender. The announcement dealt with Lucent exiting the SC sector and handing that over to AMSC in return for a royalty stream. Somewhere that far back along this thread there will be a reference to this. When I have sometime I might dig it out for you.
