victor, from what I remember Compaq retained somewhere between
17% to 20% of AltaVista, also obtaining a similar percentage of
CMGI for having sold it the remainder of AltaVista.

So it would seem that when AltaVista goes IPO then CPQ will be worth
a bit more if the IPO price goes "thru the roof"...
