Eddy: I may need a lesson in shorting. I had thought that shorting was "borrowing" the stock at a high price then acting to drive the price down in order to buy the equivalent of the "borrowed" stock at a lower price, thus making the difference between the higher price and the "new" lower price the profit margin. If this is ture them Larry did not short sell the stock. He merely bought and sold at a profit margin on a price increase that is presumably a lower profit margin than you think he should have accepted. From what I read in your message it does not look like he sold the stock with the intent to drive the price down.

A few weeks ago I sold some ALR (Absolut) when it was up around $1.30. Now it is in the low $0.70's. Am I a shorter? I don't fell like one! I had bought the stock at $1.22 last fall and watched it drop to $0.60
a short time after. In this case I too was waiting for a "bounce" to occur before I sold.
