You're missing my point. I was created with a mind to search for truth. I don't know why, but it was there. True, I wasn't consciously searching for God, just what "truth" was. It was a nice surprise to find "truth" was Jesus. "How can you know your going to find out something that you do not know exists ??" I knew "truth" existed. And I might add, a reason for this life.
BTW, nice story about you and your wife.
"Somebody is not being quite truthful here and I don't think it's God in His Word.. hmmmmmm" Hmmmmmmm yourself, Don't think everyone is trying to sneak one passed God's word.
P.S. Don't make me get The Bible Answer Man, Hank Hannegraaf, to further answer your statements on predestination (smile). I have one question: How do you pray for someone you know isn't presently saved? Do you ask God to open their eyes or do you ask Him to open their eyes if it is His will? If God is Love, how can it not be His will? You don't just love those you've chosen. He makes the sun shine on the ungodly also. Why pray for those who "despitefully" use you? Why not ask as John and James did for "fire from heaven". Ahhh, ye know not what spirit ye are of. |
