Oh yeah! Major heartburn before, minor heartburn after. Doc (who is also long-time friend) says that at some time during a meal you really enjoy you'll experience a little burp, if you want heartburn, continue, if not, not. Coupled with rotating doses of pepcid, tagamet, an rolaids, this solves the problem. If I strictly observe the primary burp rule, the medication is unnecessary.
