Market trend: What time frame are you talking about 5 min, 1 hour, weekly, monthly? We rarely see more than a 1% move in indices, What size move would cause a decision?

I think a long term trend is more important where major support is broke. It looks as if the market has been an upper trend for over a month, yet New lows remain and many of the past leaders are lagging.

Can Tick or TRIN give one enough information to sell a profitable long with its changes thru the day?

The first decision is not Index health but health of the stock.
