Intel would like for AMD to go away. It is not illegal to be an only player in any field.

The process of getting rid of AMD could be illegal if it includes cutting prices to an extreme. Saying Intel wants AMD to be around is dumb. AMD is costing Intel Billions in profit due to its market share and ASP pressure on Intel. If Intel chooses to cut PIII prices to compete with Athlon, then investor of both company need to look out.

I hope I am done discussing this.
