OT Phil, following on your comments... ..in fact Band Width may be the new most valued commodity! There is even one company that is trading in it alone..Any one interested in companies in this area can follow the Gilder Thread. Another fascinating thread is Currencys..A while back there was one item that illustrated that the Non Central Bank/non sanctioned money in the global system is something like 100 times that controlled by the central banks...we are in a new paradigm and we (IMO) are not going to return. A little more controversial...there is also the likely hood (and soon) that new proven technologies will emerge that allow precious metals to be recovered at many times the efficiencies at present..and from non traditional sources. ..best to have/develop lots of peripheral vision.
