Expedia is a travel agency. PCLN isn't, is it? From my own perspective, I think that there is a significant difference between the two businss models... Seems to me that PCLN's focus on travel aside, it would be a kind of apples/oranges situation to try to compare the two. Don't pretend to be an expert, but wouldn't it be better to compare Expedia to other travel agency operations (e.g. the firm who has SABRE?)
