I agree with your thinking, and dollars to doughnuts (now *there's* something my grandmother would say :) some or all of the group behind the GP selling imho the BBL mutual fund I mentioned the other day - you already know the other two are likely out completely based on their statements. BBL is headquartered in Belgium and their funds are managed nominally through Luxembourg, they are according to Forbes one of the 30 largest banks in the world, and according to the site I posted on Friday, they hold jordex through two base metals funds, which would of course be removing it as scudder and midas have done because it no longer fits their mandate. I spent the morning looking for the volume of their holdings and have not been able to find such electronically available. I have been making attempts to get a printed listing of their holdings. With any luck news will be out before I get a chance to peruse this :)
