Actually Couch was the GM of the division, it was Wayne Rosing who did the R&D... wow! you're really good with this stuff though... Rosing was at Sun last I looked, probably retired now. I don't know what Couches background was.. you seem to, was it R&D? Because the logistics of building and shipping the Lisa were the real nail in its coffin. Maybe he never knew how to do that and underestimated the task?
