mikesloan. If Strathcona is on the ball the samples that each lab sees will be coded for security and a number of blank samples(with a similar level of gold to BRE-Xs finds) will also be added, also coded. Strathcona will be sending equal samples to each lab for a triad of assays. Only Stratcona will know the keys to the codes. That way the labs have zero to leak, as they will have been told beforehand about the blanks and the fact they are coded. The code for each lab will differ, so the labs cannot collude, and when all data is in Strathcona will be able to extract the data via the codes, reject the blanks and have a three lab comparison on all the samples that no-one else has. They will probably then release it to all simultaneously. Sounds complex??, it is routinely done to muzzle lab leaks, if there are suspicions.
