Lack of information public information is also hindering individual
investors--including myself. I've been looking at this company
for a while. I requested information from investor relations, and
recently received a packet containing a 1995 annual report!

It's now been 3 1/2 months sends the end of FY96, and we still have
no annual report and no balance sheet. I can't understand why
a company would be so late in publishing information.

Their objective seems to be to grow the company by aquisitions of or
mergers with others. However, without their balance sheet information, I have no way to know how they can afford to do this.
How much cash do they have? How much debt have they incurred
for the recent aquisitions/mergers?

They've hired outside firm to help them with their publicity. The best
thing they can do to help with their publicity is to publish concrete
information that demonstrates they have a chance to deliver on
what they say are their objectives.

According to information I've seen earlier in this thread, they were
supposed to have published the annual report about two weeks
ago. Still there's no information.

When I compare the current P/E with stated objectives and
projections, this company looks unbelieveably tempting. However,
without the necessary numbers to do any sort of good analysis,
I have to consider any claims I hear as TGTBT (too good to be
true).

One thing I noticed in their 1995 annual report is that they
received an extremely high percentage of their revenue from
just a few customers (seems like it was just 3 or 4, but I can't
remember the exact number or the percentage). If that situation's
still true, that makes the company extremely risky. Their extremely
eratic quarterly earnings history also makes this stock hard to
evaluate.

If anyone at American Eco is reading, here's my request:
