james, so you think i might be on to something....okay. i've got another one for you. sun.com talks alot about devices replacing PCs. Their vision is that the vast majority of these will be java based and run sun.com software. they say msft is dead meat in this kind of world. I say, where are THEY? msft on the other hand, already has TWO viable platforms that oem's are rallying around. the first is Webtv, and the second is the thin client based on CE that access MSN. Where are the sun.com based thin client PC killers james? you read alot, help me out. <g> Also, sun.com talks about a world where software is server based and msft is dead meat in this world. but msft ALREADY is experimenting with this model. look at the expedia site, carpoint, and msn investor, and hotmail. meanwhile, sun.com has no consumer web sites. msft offers consumers ms money which is mostly a web based program now. yet these naysayers say msft is ill prepared for this new world. what say you st nick?
