BK, I can't prove that homosexual acts are, without a doubt, wrong. I believe they are because the Bible I believe in says so. OTH, they can't prove that their behavior is right, and should give them special rights. That's right, special rights. From what I have seen, with my own eyes, in gay pride parades, night clubs, and in political demands they make, they don't want to be treated as equal. They want special consideration, and they, nor anyone else, has that coming. I judge their sexually deviant practices, not the people themselves.
Again, you look at the Christian Faith from only one perspective. The new "Faith based" Christians are nothing like the old denominational types. When I had no option but to go to denominational churches, they wouldn't let you in unless you had a suit and tie on. They didn't care what was in your heart but, what was on your back. On Easter Sunday, they main topic among the members of the congregation was not that Jesus died and was resurrected(sp) to pay for the sins of man, but who had what bonnet on their head. More time was spent discussing who was going to pay for the new parking lot, than what Jesus said, taught, and lived in His time on Earth. I soon soured on this type of hypocrisy. There is a whole new group of "Faith based" Christians, and, I might add, Brian ain't one of them.
Remember, that homosexual acts were prominent in spreading the disease of AIDS. Not the only factor, but the main one. TD |
