John, OTOT:>>>I spilled a few beers with Mr. Veeck at Miller's Pub when it was on Adams street in Chicago.<<<

I don't doubt your veracity, but this is beginning to sound like the Buddy Holly story. If all those people that was booked on Buddy Holly's last flight were actually booked for that flight, they would have been booking for a stretched version of a Boeing 747 instead of the puddle jumper that crashed.

If all the people coming out of the woodworks are claiming to have spent as much time at Miller's Pub, Miller's Pub would still be on Adam Street <gggg>.

I guess that's how legends become legends.

Now Osha is trying to become a legend. Based on one breakfast meeting with Andy Bryant, he is claiming all sorts of insights and now know more about Intel's business than the management at Intel - Andy Bryant not withstanding.

I remember when Mr. Osha was just a newbie at ML - hardly wet behind the ears. Now he knows more about Intel than the fellows running Intel.

With a certain amount of tongue in cheek,

Mary
