CAPTECH MULTICOM INC ("MUL-Y")
- Units of 1999 Cap Guard and CAPTECH 2000 in Production
Captech Multicom Inc. ("Captech") is pleased to announce that 600
units comprised of units of the 1999 Cap Guard monitoring system and units
of the CAPTECH 2000 system are currently being in production for delivery
to Captech during the week beginning December 13, 1999.
With this equipment, Captech will be able to proceed to
installations of the units of the 1999 Captech Cap Guard
monitoring module system towards clients and to then demonstrate
the efficiency of its telemetering system. Captech will also
promote the CAPTECH 2000 system together with its other related
system products towards the cable distributors. This delivery of
units to Captech will result in an increase of the inventory
maintained by Captech in order to support future sales and in a
decrease of the waiting time for acquiring the products of
Captech.
The CAPTECH 2000 system is a real-time remote controlled
surveillance system for managing and maintaining networks as well
as preventing interruptions from each and every measuring points,
from cable head ends to distribution network amplifiers. The 1999
Captech Cap Guard monitoring system ensures telemesuring of
energy, water and gas. This system allows multiple applications
such as: alarm systems for residential, commercial and industrial
uses; data transmission from water meters, electric meters and gas
meters and automated home (intelligent house). The 1999 Captech
Cap Guard monitoring system uses the same type of monitoring
system as the CAPTECH 2000 system but exists outside the cable
network at the end of the connection of said network for data
transmission from individual public utilities meters.
Captech is also pleased to announce that from June 23, 1999 to the
date hereof, an aggregate of $514,400.40 were added to the working
capital of Captech following the exercise by directors and
officers of Captech of a total of 55,000 options at prices ranging
from $0.30 to $0.84 and the exercise of 336,957 warrants
exercisable at a price of $1.00 for a period expiring on October
24, 1999 and 253,239 warrants exercisable at a price of $0.60 for
a period expiring on June 2, 2000.
Captech is finally pleased to announce that the consolidated
balance sheet of Captech as at September 30, 1999 shows assets of
$3,964,104 with an amount of $1,502,096 in cash and an amount of
$2,134,882 as development expenses.
The Common Shares of Captech are listed on the Alberta Stock
Exchange under the symbol MUL.
