Hello Fenton, other than hedging and picking up some decent yields with covered call option premiums, I haven't sold any OREX. As per previous posts, my expectations have been longer term for 1-2 years. I usually try to limit highest risk investments such as being long in OREX and other similar investments to less than 5% of overall investments (also been buying Presstek, PRST, recently... also been successfully shorting some overvalued issues like DDIM, VIAS, ZITL... will take another look at being long in AUTO). Patience should be commensurately rewarding. Certainly no guarantees, but time will tell.
I believe Bob Taylor's retirement is a proactive move at this point. He is a super guy, and along with Honeycutt and others, he has been very instrumental in Isolyser's many achievements thus far. Given the relatively fast growth in capital and coverage, focus on earnings growth is the most necessary ingredient today. Recognizing all factors including age, energies, professional skills and experience - succession is usually a necessary step at various points in a company's growth. Ultimately, results should be a net plus for all.
Haven't "flogged" very many 1040s since the early 80s when I sold entire CPA practice except for continuing to manage a few affluent clients' assets; so, April 15 is not as traumatic as it once was. Because of K-1 delays from other business interests, I usually file for an automatic extension to file my return anyway. Regards -Kent |
