Re. VOFDM and DOCSIS1.1 -- what does it mean really
that VOFDM will be based on DOCSIS1.1? Isn't the DOCSIS
MAC based on the tree structure of the HFC plant?
From this perspective, it is really not adapted to
the wireless environment. Or should I interpret the
DOCSIS part of the announcement as something more
generic, i.e. that the MAC will be IP based?
