COSTA MESA, Calif., Nov 12, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Kanakaris
Communications, Inc.'s (OTC Bulletin Board: KKRS) CEO Alex Kanakaris
will appear on the Internet in a live audio web chat to answer
shareholder and analyst questions on Sunday, November 14 at 12:00 noon
pacific time at www.KKRS.Net. Mr. Kanakaris, who recently appeared on
Fox News Channel live as an "Internet guru" to answer questions on the
state of the Internet and his new book, will use the forum to provide a
hands-on understanding of how Kanakaris is uniquely positioned in the
Internet marketplace and how the Company will seek to increase
revenues.

Shareholders, analysts and the public may ask questions by sending
email during the webcast to kkrsquestions@aol.com. A moderator will
choose from a variety of questions and pose these to Mr. Kanakaris. The
Company plans to archive the discussion for those who wish to hear it
after the live webcast.
Kanakaris Communications, Inc. also disclosed several recent developments:
-- Clickable headlines at Microsoft's www.WindowsMedia.com web site
provide links and enhanced traffic to the Kanakaris movie site,
www.NetMovieMania.com. Presently, these include headlines from the
WindowsMedia.com home page on a rotating basis.
-- In October, viewership to the Kanakaris entertainment web portal
KKRS.Net was up 30% from the previous month, generating over 740,000
page views and over 140,000 sessions involving Internet users watching
movies at NetMovieMania.com.
-- Kanakaris has signed a memorandum of understanding with LAIN (Latin
American Independent Network) of Miami Beach, Florida, a leading
studio devoted to buying, selling and producing motion pictures dubbed
or subtitled into Spanish. The alliance with LAIN gives Kanakaris
immediate access to over 200 Spanish language or subtitled films for
direct over-the-Internet delivery.
-- Kanakaris will introduce www.CinemaPop.com (also accessible at
www.CinemaManiaNetwork.com) as a new KKRS.Net web channel devoted
exclusively to Spanish language films, books and music. The initial
content will be films supplied by LAIN.
-- Kanakaris has signed a contract with MLR Films International giving
the Kanakaris web sites access to over 1,000 films and hundreds of
television shows for direct over-the-Internet distribution. Kanakaris
will exercise its option to distribute these films on an on-going
basis but has not determined the total number of films it will
license.
-- Kanakaris has reserved the URL www.FilmFest2000.com, which it intends
to use as a KKRS.Net channel devoted to showcasing independent and
original short films.
-- Kanakaris is proceeding with the development of Southern California's
first studio devoted exclusively to digital films and the creation of
audio/video films for the web. The INTERtaiNmEnT(TM) Studio is
scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2000 in Irvine, California.
-- Kanakaris is developing a four part revenue program for its online
motion picture channels. The potential revenue areas are 1) web site
advertising, 2) monthly subscription fee for unlimited access to an
increased number of movies, 3) pay-per-view for select movies and web
events at higher access speeds, 4) co-branding of Kanakaris movie
content with other web sites with no bandwidth or setup charges to
Partner sites, with revenue sharing potential to the participating
sites for each subscriber or pay-per-view customer generated.
Kanakaris expects to increase its audience size, and thus its
advertising value, as well as its potential subscribers and pay-per-
view customers, though its Partner Program.
