I guess I misunderstand the purpose of the thread. I'll go back and re-read the introductory paragraph. Beyond a few old world professors, some dyspeptic eccentrics, and a loyal but very small band of enthusiasts, nobody cares.

I love the guy, he is certainly a lion. If we are choosing people based on their influence of Thomistic studies, can we include Pope Pius X? His encyclical condemning modernism, Pascendi, was instrumental in reviving Thomism.
