Bug, According to Daily Stock (Yahoo) it says 4/17/97. I have found that means one day earlier for those companies that report after the close which I assume XLNX does. If its the 24th, then its the 24th. Guess they need the extra time to do some additional financial engineering. Margin interest is reported on line 13 of schedule A. Your deduction cannot exceed investment income (dividends and interest). Haven't you filed your damn return yet?? Slacker (g). Pete
