Something tells me these guys, (STS, VSE, IG) put the art back in Scam Artistry.
Call me paranoid, but this is too slick. They may be good guys, and I don't blame them, I blame myself for trusting them. All DD that we could have done said this was a good deal. Except for one mysterious "unacceptable investor". How stupid of us! Does DD now require the investigation of every participant in a financing? I guess so...
We've all been screwed. And I think it's by the guys we trusted. I feel this thing was orchestrated beautifully. Guru, with great track record, makes #1 pick, touting it as his biggest deal. They have a great story, shoot the stock from <.60 to >3 bucks. Blow out their stock, do a couple a PP's, a little shorting, (the short position always being touted as "a good thing, if anything"), come within a hair of the big "payday", Whoopsy! fumble the ball on the 1 yard line, watch this thing sink to atlantis. Seamless...my hats off to them.
No, I don't have facts. No, I don't really believe this. But I do think it's possible.
In this Canadian small caps-market, my sure sell indicator is now when the VSE's case workers, and the Gurus people are following, go on vacation. |
