Chaz, Fancy being reduced to discussing the bold type versus the old SI on Hard Launch date. Oh well, that's life. I never did like razzmatazz anyway. Day 2 here is ending and no minutes appear on globalstar.com Not to worry. Congratulations to the Globalstar team for getting it up and ready for the service providers to do their thing. Maybe phone some of them and check their pulse. Another 4 satellites in a few days will complete the constellation. Anyone in Brazil reading this? Any handsets for sale there? Anyone on the planet reading this who can see a Globalstar handset in a shop? Can Globalstar tell us by way of a flashing red light on their Web page which Service Providers are now actually selling phones and service to real people and not soft launch buddies? Day 3 coming up in a few hours. Meanwhile, Charlene Barshefsky getting a deal in China will be a help. Terrestrial cdmaOne will be on offer and so Qualcomm Globalstar phones will be useful there. Good suggestion Chaz - a press release each time a new Service Provider starts selling to the public would be easy enough. Surely that wouldn't be a secret which the service providers wouldn't like disclosed, though you can't be too safe in keeping things quiet. New selling technique = "Ssshhh, don't mention we are in business. Don't want unhappy customers you know." Maurice
