Frank (or Others) , I'm still struggling with the concept of MMDS.

Would we be somewhat assured that, in an MMDS application using an unlicensed chunk of the spectrum, ---

your own transmit signal is unidirectional (and focused enough) - to eliminate the chance of a collision with another (foreign) unlicensed transmitting device, in the same chunk of the spectrum ??

Or -- Would the the multi path (Vector) signals be,
susceptable to collision or contention problems ?
