I think the run rate means percent revenue growth but I could be wrong and the Sultan can correct me if I'm wrong.
I listened to the conference call on the weekend and the analysts sure didn't like the added cost for the JBA deal. They keep asking if there was going to be a one time charge and the company keep say no there wouldn't be.
The other point I picked up was that Geac was being very conservative on the future growth of JBA.
The positive point was that they plan to make EPS near 70 cent for the last quarter. On the flip side he did mention that some companies have a lock down which means they will freeze spending until the Y2K is over. So my take is that this quarter could be on the weak side.

Now saying all of this I'm still very positive for the long term prospects considering that the Y2K will be over very shortly and Geac is one company that has come through with good EPS.
The other thing I like is that with the planned 90 Mil saving on JBA which is about $1.50 / share. All they have to do is make JBA break even and they add $1.5 to their future earnings. We could be talking in the upper 3 buck range or higher next year. The only question is can they make JBA break even. Now what if they can turn JBA around and make a nice profit we could be in the 4 or 5 buck range.
Next year should be interesting.
