CDMA Subscriber Update The numbers are now out showing that the tornado continues! Growth in North America nearly tripled and 60% of all subscribers are in Asia. The categories I track: Total Subscribers: 41.1 million (a little higher than I guessed weeks ago would be needed to attain 50 million subscribers in 1999); 157% higher than the total number of subscribers a year ago. New Subscribers in Q3: 7.5 million; 47% greater than the number of new subscribers in Q2; 94% greater than the number of new subscribers in the year-earlier quarter --Mike Buckley
