Brian, I was not supporting what John said, and indeed, I have disagreed with his method of analysis before.

My point was that the fact that MSFT, CSCO, et. al. have made many millionaires in the past is absolutely irrelevant in looking toward the future and their continued ability to generate returns for shareholders.
